The Yamaha India in order to enhance its market share launched Yamaha SZ-R, sporty version of SZ-x backed with air cool single cylinder 4 stroke,  SOHC two valve 153cc engine which generates the highest power of 12.1 PS at 7500 rpm. The incredible engine guarantees remarkable acceleration and pick up. The muscular, fashionable Yamaha SZ-R commuter bike is design to create the sensation of High Speed. The Yamaha SZ-R delivers decent fuel efficiency of 55-60 km/litre. The bike endowed with front disc brake, tachometer and tank protector add on to appear fuel tank even larger. It has clear lens flasher, and colored handle grip end bar. It has C.D.I ignition system with electric and quick start option.

The amazing bike offers special graphics with painted muffler end caps. Three dimensional figure gives the impression aerodynamic efficacy facilitate the machine cut out through the air cleanly, dimensionally. The side covers designed in such way to look like part of the frame, made of polypropylene material confers crack resistance. Yamaha SZ- R adorn with  modern Halogen bulb  and  dual tail lights ,upper lamp for high mount brake and lower one is regular tail light. The seat designed to provide enough space for comfortable riding position gives tiredness free rides for rider and pillion. High end torque on low RPM, presents minimum gear shift in city traffic to experience a jerk free riding. Meter panel is stylish with white dial indicated Eco-Zone(30-50km/h) speed range, meter panel helps to get better mileage. The large size front fender is design protects the body from mud splashes & water.
