Piaggo re launch Vespa



The Italian two wheeler manufacturer Piaggio (Piaggo Vehicles Pvt Ltd), launches its Vespa LX 125 scooter in India. The Piaggio developed new engine for the inIndian market. This new engine is eco friendly and fuel efficient.  The Indo-Italian LX125 employs a monocoque type steel chassis and conventional hydraulic mono-shock at the rear and single sided hydraulic shock absorber with trailing linkage in front side.The scooter has unisex appeal curvaceous lines  and rounded front mudguard and three spoke alloy wheels make comfortable ride.  The Vespa first sold  India in the 1960- and the 1970 in collaboration with Bajaj Auto. After exiting the venture, Piaggio tied up with LML till 1999, when LML Piaggio venture ended. It has aimed at a premium category in the domestic scooter segment. The Vespa will be roll out from the Piaggio’s new factory at Baramati near Pune.
The Piaggo sell retro classic the gearless Vespa LX125 and priced Rs.66,661 The company claims that it deliver 60kmpl.
