The UK-based computer brand Allied Computers International (Asia) Limited ACi , notebook specialist company in the country ,launched a  high-resolution screen laptop - Aci Icon 1100 – for  Rs 4,999 in the Indian market.
 The Company set up a manufacturing unit at 84,Rashmi Park Bunglow, Waliv Village , Vasai Road , Vasai East, Dist. Thane 401202, situated very near to Mumbai and Mumbai Port. The company claims that it can the manufacture 500-700 units per month.
The laptops will be marketed in India by a BSE-listed group company, and promised to offer sleek and slim, innovative design model at low cost.
